to another one. Some very interesting questions asked].

Ida:
Hello! How are you today?

JimT:
hi

JimT:
I had started with Ben before. Is he free

JimT:
If no, we can talk

Ida:
let me check

Ida:
Has transferred you to:

JimT:
hi

Ben:
hello

Ben:
do you have a connection problem?

JimT:
browser problem

JimT:
had a question about the God is Your Heavenly Father page

Ben:
ok what is it?

JimT:
"God has a body that looks like yours, though His body is
immortal, perfected, and has a glory beyond description."

JimT:
I can understand what perfect means but how did Heavenly Father
get a perfected body?

Ben:
i dont know

JimT:
ok, had another question from the same page

JimT:
"Your life on Earth is part of His plan for you to gain a body,
learn, grow, and find joy."

JimT:
God wanted Adam and Eve to gain a body and learn?

Ben:
yes

Ben:
but they had to choose for themselves

JimT:
How did he want them to learn and find joy?

Ben:
first he wanted to see if they would obey him

Ben:
and they didn't

JimT:
Is there more that you wanted to say?

Ben:
here is a page i think answers it well.

Ben:
http://mormon.org/mormonorg/eng/basic-beliefs/heavenly-father-s-p
lan-of-happiness/agency-and-the-fall-of-adam-and-eve
(This URL is opening in the browser window that you opened the
chat window from.)

JimT:
I'll have a look.

JimT:
It says their disobedience made it possible for them to learn and
progress.

JimT:
Is that the way God wanted them to learn and find joy?

Ben:
through their own choices yes.

JimT:
The web pages makes references to blessings resulting from their
disobedience.

JimT:
Is this the only case in human history when God bestowed
blessings on people when they followed the temptation of the
devil? Or are there others?

Ben:
i dont know of any others.

Ben:
adam and eve will be pushed for not keeping the commandment
through.

JimT:
So they are the only example?

Ben:
that i know of.

JimT:
In God's eyes, did they choose wisely to follow the devil's
temptation?

Ben:
i dont know

Ben:
im not God.

[Editor's comment: I thought that was an easy question to answer]

JimT:
I would say they chose poorly.

Ben:
ok

JimT:
Personally, I don't think God would ever bless someone for
following the devil.

JimT:
I think that's it. I didn't have any other questions.

JimT:
I will read some more online.
